We need to be waiting and prepared for His return. Second, the prophecies of Daniel are to be understood in the light of the entire Book of Daniel, of the Old Testament, and of the Bible as a whole. While most of those in this kingdom may not have had a true conversion, at least they tolerated the Jewish faith as the religion of the state.
